I recently went in for a dental check-up and cleaning which I usually dread because of my sensitive gums. However my experience with Dr. Kim and her team was fantastic. Dr. Kim was incredibly caring checking on me regularly to ensure I was comfortable throughout the process. Her assistant Linda was equally attentive and supportive which made the whole appointment much less stressful. I also want to highlight Brittany the receptionist who was so helpful with my insurance billing process. I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the entire team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a compassionate and efficient dental practice.

Dr. Kim Hundoo is an expert Dentist who is excellent and very specialized in all facets of dentistry. He was detailed thorough kind completed my buccal fillings perfectly and ensured that the entire process was painless. I will always return to Dr. Kim Hundoo for his superb thorough professional dental care as well as his kindness attentiveness and patience towards my pain. I have been coming to Canyon Creek Dental Clinic since 20 years (previously under the care of dear Dr. A. Goldenberg who was great and has now retired). The reception staff are also wonderful. During xmas I went to try a different dental clinic for a sore molar. They wanted to extract the tooth and put a crown or 2 and a high price. I went back to Canyon Creek Dental which I attended for over 20 years and Dr. Chun fixed the tooth by bonding saving me thousands of dollars. Only reason I went elsewhere was Canyon Creek were not available over the holidays but I am happy I decided to wait 👍.. The staff are always very accommodating.

I have been going to Canyon Creek Dental for 24 years. Always receive excellent care and dental advice without feeling like I am being pressured into unnecessary procedures. I have been through multiple jaw surgeries resulting in significant pain over the last 17 years. Canyon Creek Dental is always sensitive to my jaw issues and take extra care to ensure that they are not incurring additional discomfort.

We have moved out of the area but I still go back. The front staff is friendly. But I really go back to see Tanya for teeth cleaning. She is thorough and gentle. She answers questions I have about other products on the market for teeth cleaning. I better mention that I always ask for Dr. Chung as well. He has a calmness about him that makes you feel comfortable and I get a good examination.

I was concerned about extracting a broken tooth but it went smoothly. I came to work from the clinic . No bleeding no swelling and no pain. I ate the porridge in the afternoon and dinner. I ate the rice and soup this morning same as usual. Back to normal. I didn’t need to take any pain meds. I am taking natural supplements from the Health Food store to support the gum and mouth health.

I've been coming to these guys for 10 years + and always been impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I recently had a root canal by Dr. Kim . It was pain free and I was constantly updated on the progress. Dr. Kim's "bed side manner " is second to none. He treats his patients and associates with kindness and respect. Our Dentists

Dr David Chung

General Dentist

Dr. Chung was born and raised in Edmonton - and despite loving Calgary life, the Oilers will always have his heart (Go Oilers Go!). He received his BSc degree in Pharmacology with distinction at the University of Alberta in 2001 before being accepted into the Doctor of Dental Surgery program. In 2005, Dr. Chung received his DDS degree from the University of Alberta and has been practicing ever since.

Dr. Chung is passionate about his work and caring for the dental health of his community. To always stay on top of the latest developments in dentistry, he’s continually updating his knowledge with continuing education courses. Patient centered care is at the root of everything he does, and he stresses the importance of making every patient feel comfortable. Dr. Chung is also bilingual in English and Korean.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Chung loves spending family time with his wife and two children, playing golf, and getting involved with anything sports related.
Dr Hundoo Kim

General Dentist

Dr. Hundoo Kim grew up in Korea before moving to Winnipeg at age 10. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Manitoba in 2016 and began his career serving the community in Brandon, Manitoba. In 2023, Dr. Kim moved to Calgary to join the Canyon Creek Dental Clinic, where he brings a compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kim enjoys spending his free time on the golf course or playing volleyball.
Dr Alex Schvimer

General Dentist

Dr. Schvimer graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 1982. He is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to continuous education, specialized training, and community involvement in dental care. Dr. Schvimer believes in personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient comfort and promote long-term oral health. Having retired three years ago, he has returned to provide part-time dental services, driven by his enduring passion for dentistry.

Fluent in Romanian, Hungarian, French, Hebrew, and English, Dr. Schvimer enjoys long walks, hiking, canoeing, and other outdoor activities in his free time. He also loves entertaining friends and has interests in traveling, fitness, and playing pickleball.
Dr Anna Goldenberg

General Dentist

Dr. Goldenberg graduated with a DDS degree from the University of Cluj-Napoca in Romania in 1982. Passionate about all aspects of general dentistry, she is committed to continuous education, specialized training, and community involvement related to dental care. Dr. Goldenberg believes in a patient-centered approach, which includes creating personalized treatment plans, ensuring patients feel comfortable, and promoting long-term oral health.

After retiring three years ago, she has returned to part-time dental service, driven by her enduring passion for helping patients. Fluent in Romanian, Hungarian, French, Spanish, and English, Dr. Goldenberg enjoys spending her free time on long walks, hiking, creative painting, and handwork. She also has interests in traveling, fitness, and cooking authentic cultural meals.
